Al Jolson, Eddie Cantor, and W. C. Fields.
Next will be performers from the Roaring 20s such as Bert Lahr, The Marx
Brothers and Paul Robeson.
The
great British stars who shone on The Great White Way included Rex Harrison, Anthony
Newley, Richard Burton and Colm Wilkinson.
Broadway’s
Golden Age featured dozens of leading men and great comedians, such as Alfred
Drake, John Raitt, Zero Mostel, Stubby Kaye, Robert Preston
and Robert Goulet. The stars of the last part of the 20th Century
include, Joel Grey, Robert Morse, Mandy Patinkin and Canada’s Len Cariou, Brent
Carver and Victor Garber.
Not
